BlackBerry users, werdehel are you? We got a little something.

At the Indosat BlackBerry Community Gathering last Saturday (20/2), Koprol unveiled the first mobile app to use Koprol API.

Introducing Werdehel?

Werdehel? is a simple BlackBerry app that can find places nearby, and see their distance, ratings, map. It can also open the browser and show activities of people and reviews of that place. Features:

Selain menjadi partner Java Jazz Festival 2010 dan SOYJOY Healthylicious, Koprol juga menjadi media partner resmi Dahsyatnya Awards 2010, acara penghargaan musisi di RCTI.

Dahsyatnya Awards akan diadakan Jumat 26 Februari 2010 jam 20.00 WIB Live dari JITEC, Mangga Dua Square dan merupakan penghargaan musisi terdahsyat yang dinilai oleh juri dan voting sms. Selain pengumuman nominasi dan pemenangnya, akan ada penampilan artis top seperti Ungu, D’Masiv, ST12, Nidji, Gigi, Triad, Wali, Kangen Band, Lyla, Gruvi, The Dance Company, Anang Hermansyah, Sherina, Vidi Aldiano, Afgan, Yuni Shara dan lainnya.

Dahsyatnya Awards ini adalah yang kedua kali, dan berdasarkan acara musik pagi andalan RCTI bernama Dahsyat (Deretan Lagu Hits Teratas) yang dipandu trio ROL: Raffi Ahmad, Olga Syahputra dan Luna Maya.

Untuk kerjasama ini, Koprol akan sayembarakan beberapa tiket untuk Koprollers bisa nonton live dengan akses khusus, dan juga menyediakan pengumuman pemenang langsung, selain tentunya memberi kabar persiapan acara dari belakang layar.

Reality show yang ini bukan di TV, tapi di Koprol.

10 Finalis akan mengikuti program SOYJOY Healthylicious selama 3 bulan (Maret-Juni 2010), dan berlomba mewujudkan resolusi hidup sehat. 2 Pemenang akan mendapatkan hadiah trip to Japan!

Jumat, 5 Februari malam, Koprol diundang menjadi tamu di “Belagu Banget”, program Live andalan Jak-TV bersama host Desta dan Windy.

Pengalaman yang baru untuk Fajar dan Satya, walaupun kembali membicarakan tentang fenomena Koprol dan jejaring sosial di Indonesia, baru sekali ini tampil di acara yang kental dengan unsur entertainment dan humor.

This year’s Java Jazz will be Koprol-ized!

One of the biggest - if not the biggest - annual music event in Jakarta is going to come up with a new social media experience!

What a day!

Koprol was invited as guest on tvOne morning show “Apa Kabar Indonesia Akhir Pekan” on Sunday, 10 January 2009, alongside Kaskus, to talk about the rise of social networking media.

It turned out to be a record-breaking day for Koprol , as it logged its highest sign-ups in one day – 3736 new Koprollers. DailySocial also mentioned this in its blog.

The record day came with a price though, as Koprol’s server was bombarded with kazillion requests at the same time, which significantly reduced our server response-time. Apologize to those who experienced problems signing-in, we’re working to avoid the same problem in the near future (new server, here we come!).

Guys, please welcome the new Koprollers. Get to know and be good to thy neighbors!

It’s been an amazing year for Koprol, and you’ve been a good boy or girl. All 19,000 of you. So here’s a little stocking stuffer from us: another feature update! Hopefully these include what you wished for. We’ve got lots more coming next month. Happy holidays!

1. Mute

You got summoned and got stuck in a thread (or roll or prol or trail) that just won’t end? You can now click the mute button and stop getting notifications. Finally!

2. Block

Blocking a person not just avoids you from getting comments from that person, it also avoids you from getting summoned.

3. Tabs

More content is coming in the right-hand column, so we’ve organized it by adding tabs to the boxes. Expect to see more cool stuff in there later.

4. Multiple Review

Want to make a new review of the same place? Before, you have to replace your old review. Now, we will keep your old reviews. But take note: we only count your last rating.

5. Easier Suggest Place

It’s now easier to submit a new place. Like before, when you search a place and can’t find it, just scroll down the page to suggest a new place. Now, we auto fill the name, and there’s an easy text box to choose the area. Just start typing and a list will show up. Choose and proceed.

6. Connect Yahoo! & Facebook to existing account

Even if you have not connected your Koprol account with Yahoo! or Facebook, you can still click those buttons before login. We will then ask you to connect to your existing Koprol account.

7. View Mobile version on your computer

On slow connection? Here’s a tip. Try our Mobile version from your computer. Just go to m.koprol.com. At anytime, you can switch between the mobile version and standard version through a link at the bottom.
